We are planning on dinner al fresco at Jethro’s outside (if it rains, we will go inside). We are going to make flower pens with our former WISE president/board member/Master Gardener Dee Martin-Spallone. She will guide us in making a flower bouquet with silk flowers on ink pens. Each member can order dinner and drinks at their own expense. This should be a lot of fun being creative.
Costs for materials will be $7 per person. We need to know how many are attending so we can purchase the materials. Please RSVP to save your spot by May 17, 2026. You can RSVP for dinner only and not partake in making flower pen bouquet. We are encouraging our membership to join us at The PNG Field-Altoona Curve Baseball team location- to hear the Altoona Symphony play patriotic music in celebration of the 250-year anniversary of our great country. This event is free to the public. Fireworks also!!! Doors open at 6:30pm with the Altoona Community Bank playing first then the Altoona Symphony will play starting at 7:30pm. |
